Introduction to ECS Policy
● This policy governs the automatic deduction of payments for subscriptions, memberships, or services provided by Vision Impact through the Electronic Clearing Service (ECS).
Authorization
● Customers must provide explicit consent for ECS deductions by completing and signing an ECS Mandate Form. This form authorizes Vision Impact to request and the customer’s bank to execute automatic deductions as per the agreed terms.
ECS Mandate Form
● The ECS Mandate Form requires details such as customer’s name, bank account details, and authorization for a specific amount to be deducted at regular intervals.
Duration of Mandate:
● The mandate remains in effect for the duration specified by the customer or until explicitly revoked in writing.
Amount and Frequency of Deductions:
● The specific amount and frequency of ECS deductions will be as per the terms agreed upon by the customer at the time of subscription or service agreement.
Notification of Deductions
● Vision Impact will provide advance notice to the customer of the amount to be deducted and the date of deduction each billing cycle.
Insufficient Funds
● In cases of insufficient funds in the customer’s account, Vision Impact may impose penalties or suspend services as per the agreed terms.
Changes to Mandate
● Customers can modify or cancel their ECS mandate by providing written notice to Vision Impact subject to the terms of their subscription or service agreement.
Dispute Resolution
● Any disputes regarding ECS transactions will be handled as per the dispute resolution mechanism outlined in the service agreement.
Data Protection
● Customer bank details and transaction data will be handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws to ensure confidentiality and security.
Compliance
● This ECS policy complies with regulations of the governing financial bodies and banking regulations applicable in the jurisdiction of Vision Impact.
Policy Amendments:
● Vision Impact reserves the right to amend this policy, and any changes will be communicated to the customers in a timely manner.
